My QX6800 runs at -13F. I win!

Oil PCs are cool, but smelly after a while unless you seal them up. you could actually run a PC under water, but it would have to be distilled water in a non conductive anti corrosion solute.

Not to mention the fact that it would need to be kept insanely clean. Adding enough ions to that water could fry it.

Yep, this is true. A sealed environment perhaps.

Yeah distilled water is corrosive and could eat through solder connections and traces on a motherboard (not sure how good the coating on the boards would hold this back).

Dielectric Gel with a silicon overcoat solves that all too well.

IBM and Georgia Tech have coaxed a chip to run at 500GHz, a record for a silicon-based device, by dropping the temperature to minus 451 degrees Fahrenheit.
thats nucking futs..... cuz absolute zero is −459.67°F. (although this temperature can never actually be reached) it will give you an idea of cold -451°F actually is...

I guess that means no 500GHz CPUs anytime soon. Talk about mass misinterpretation of a PR announcement....
